Taipei by night provides you a wide choice of diversions, including inexpensive evening tours of the city, piano bars, discos, shop- ping, night markets, restful tea houses, lively beer houses and pubs, and cinemas feature ing first-run Western and Chinese movies (with subtitles). Several of Taipei's districts are noted for shopping bargains which include jewelry, clothing, shoes, sporting goods, books, curios and mementos. One of the most exciting, and exotic shopping adventures you can have is a visit to a local night market. Most of Taiwan's major cities have night markets where you can find bargains on a variety of traditional products, casual clothes, fruit, snacks, and novelty items. Remember, most sections of Taiwan's cities are perfectly safe at any time of the day or night, so relax and enjoy yourself. |
