Movie Center
Near the famed National palace Museum. The Culture and Movie center
is built like a town from old China with reconstructions of buildings
from different dynasties. This is where movies are actually made. Buses

National Palace Museum
World's largest collection of Chinese art, spanning China's 5,000-year
history. Treasures from the ancient imperial collection include jade,
porcelain, paintings, bronzes, and more. Pieces on display changed regularly.

Lin An-tai House
Ching dynasty-era family home offers rare look into China's past. Intricate
stone and wood carvings complement the graceful, classical Chinese architecture.

Hsingtien Temple
Home to the God of War and other deities, an interesting place to see
age-old worship and intricate temple architecture. Buses : 5, 41, 49,

Fu Hsing Dramatic
Arts Academy
This training school for traditional Chinese opera performers and acrobats
opens its doors to visitors each Monday, Thursday, and Saturday morning
for introductions to this fascinating performing art, a short stage
show, and a campus and museum tour. Buses : 247, 287.
Sungshan (Jaoho St.)
Night market
Great place for local. Handicrafts, clothes, toys, tapes and CDs, tasty

Lin Family Gardens
Taiwan's finest example of classical Chinese-style landscaping, with
