Accommodation
The Lai Lai Sheraton provides 686 rooms including 71
suites to choose from. Room types range from the Superior Single
to the palatial two-story Presidential Suite. For the business
traveler an especially popular choice is the BizNet Room, which
is equipped with remote computer keyboard with Internet, e-mail
and Microsoft Office access.
In addition to more than 300 non-smoking rooms, the Lai Lai Sheraton
also offers Ladies-Only rooms, with special amenities and added
security for lady travelers. For guests with special needs, the
hotel also has accommodations for the handicapped.
Finally, three floors are reserved for members of the Starwood
Preferred Guest program. A members-only lounge is located on the
12th floor, where Starwood Preferred Guests may relax. Complimentary
afternoon tea is served daily.
All guest rooms are air-conditioned and include voice-mail telephones
with data ports and emergency smoke hoods for safe evacuation
in case of fire. Many rooms, including all Starwood Preferred
Guest rooms have in-room safes. In-room entertainment includes
pay-per-view movies, as well as local and international satellite

Dining at the Lai Lai Sheraton is an adventure on the Silk Road,
with superb cuisine from both East and West.
Cuisine from the Orient includes two Japanese restaurants. The
Momoyama offers Japanese cuisine in the setting of a traditional
Japanese Inn; while the Teppanyaki specializes in grilled steaks
and seafood prepared in that special teppanyaki style.
Chinese restaurants include the Jade Garden with the ever-popular
Cantonese cuisine, including dim sum. The Shangri-La Garden specializes
in Shanghainese cuisine. Those regional cuisine is found in he
Hunan Garden with superb Hunanese cuisine served a la carte; and
the Happy Garden with the best Taiwanese cuisine in the city.
Western restaurants include the Four Seasons Cafe with a vast
a la carte menu, and lunch and dinner buffets. One of Taipei's
most popular Italian restaurants is the hotel's Pizza Pub with
pizzas baked in an authentic wood-fired oven. The Antoine Room,
considered Taipei's number one French restaurant, features superb
continental cuisine in truly elegant surroundings.
For relaxation and good times, stop by the Lobby Lounge, one of
Taipei's most popular meeting places. For a great night of dancing
and fun, come to the Mix 50/90 Nightclub. Music is provided by
both a live band and D.J. Frequent theme nights add to the fun
and excitement.

Facilities are ideal for major conferences, exhibitions, trade
shows, presentations, receptions, fashion shows. State-of-the-art
equipment and experienced, efficient staff ensure a successful
event. Sliding walls divide the main ball into the Golden Dragon,
Golden Phoenix and Golden Crown. Equipment includes: 6 square
metre elevated stage, theatrical dressing rooms, electrically
operated promenades, theatrical stage lighting, overhead press
box/monitor, public address system, 4-language simultaneous translation
equipment, and the latest audio visual equipment. Video conferencing
facilities are also available.

Full secretarial and translation services are provided, as well
as complete office and telecommunications equipment and a private
meeting room.
Shopping Arcades
Two shopping arcades are on the hotel premises. The Champs-Elysees,
in the lobby, offers a variety of name brand clothing and accessories
from the world's top fashion houses. The Shangri-La Shopping Arcade
is located on the B1 level and offers a wide selection of both
local and imported goods, as well as book store, tailor shops
and handicraft retailers.
Golf Center
For golf enthusiasts, the Golf Service Center provides equipment
